“ Returned 3 days later n had century egg this time... Even nicer ---+ Nice n silky porridge. They have options of choosing eggs, century egg and offals. Crowded with locals, and also tourist. Next to the shop sell Chinese fried doughstick (youtiao) and goes very well with the porridge. Opens at 6am and 3pm. The closing time for the 2 sessions end once the food is sold out. ”
“ I ordered #5 which is pretty much everything. The congee is smooth and silky. Ingredients are generous and portion size is surprisingly filling. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the burnt taste of the congee but I know some prefer it. I don’t mind it but would have been even better if it didn’t have the burnt taste. A bit confusing at first. There are people standing outside, seemingly lining up but I found out it was for another shop or just waiting for takeout. You have to check by looking inside to see if there is an open table. I came at 8am so just beat the rush.. Service was great. There were some rude customers but they dealt them with a smile. I probably would do the opposite. Congee and chrysanthemum drink was 105 baht. So worth it. And they even chased me down for the change which was really for a tip. ”
“ Another Bangkok Michelin gem quest. The atmosphere was so full and crowded. Best congee for breakfast I've ever taste so far in town. As I was avoiding organ and offal parts, I only ordered simple pork congee with eggs. There's a smoky aroma of the bowl, fragrant, combined with tasty minced pork balls, soft boiled egg and century egg. Don't forget to add some patongos for side dish, crunchy. So delicious that I have to hold myself for not ordering more because it was just a breakfast and was still early in the morning. Lady owner was so friendly and attentive to customers. Satisfactory portion and affordable price too. Definitely will visit again. ”
“ Hearty yet light breakfast- this spot serves Cantonese style porridge that tastes homey and delicious. The porridge is very easy to eat and appeals to all age. Pork meatball was juicy and tasty. ”
“ Finally got to try the Michelin Gourmand Jok Prince porridge. Ordered the pork porridge with century egg and soft-boiled egg for 90THB. The porridge had a distinct smoky, charred flavor, while the meatballs were firm and delicious. Truly worth the hype! ”
